Restorative yoga is a specialized practice designed for individuals seeking deep relaxation, rest, and rejuvenation. This special practice utilizes cushions, blankets, and props in long-held, resting poses to create support and softness, releasing chronic tension in the body and mind.
Through calming breathwork and supported, grounding postures, restorative yoga offers access to deep rest and renewal, enhancing freedom in the body and calming the nervous system. In restorative practice, the benefits of yoga are received without any expenditure of energy. Connect with yourself in this quiet practice through soft support, breath, and stillness.
Restorative postures are guided using props around your home, such as pillows, towels, blankets, cushions, and blocks. An additional light blanket for covering and an eye mask deepen relaxation.
