Our intention is to create sacred space so the benefits of yoga practice are fully realized by all.

alleyCat Yoga is a heart-centered online community seeking inner awareness through yoga practices. We believe in the transformative power of yoga to bring us into the moment, cultivating inner peace, physical and emotional balance, and expanded Consciousness. At alleyCat, our approach to yoga practice emphasizes meditative movement and breathwork, encouraging inward focus and spiritual awakening.

alleyCat Online is a supportive space to join together in practice, honoring the years of our commingled in-person history and the foundation of Kripalu Yoga. Our online studio is a space to renew, move, and breathe through nourishing practices that invite integration and self-connection. Our breath-focused practices invite you to cultivate a deeper sense of presence and quiet awareness. Through a diverse offering of mindful, grounded practices, our intention is to hold sacred space that allows you to cultivate presence and connection with your inner truth.

Classes

KRIPALU YOGA
all levels

Kripalu Yoga is designed to awaken and align the energy in the body, quiet the mind, and access states of deep awareness. Often referred to as “Meditation in Motion,” a combination of pranayama and asana allows simultaneous exploration of posture flows and deep meditation. Students are encouraged to explore each pose within their personal physical limits and strengths, with modifications provided.

KRIPALU REST+UNWIND
gentle | restorative

Kripalu Rest and Unwind is a mindful, floor-based class held in the container of rest and relaxation. Explore breathing practices, simple prop-supported restorative poses, and gentle stretches that open and create space in your body and heart-mind. Blending Kripalu deep stretch, restorative yoga, and meditation, this grounded, nourishing practice invites integration and self-connection.

DEEP STRETCH
all levels

Deep Stretch is a slower-paced class that interweaves awareness, intention, and breath with every asana. A thoughtful pose sequence travels through the body’s mental, emotional, and spiritual landscape. By moving slowly,  habitual movement patterns are recognized, and new possibilities of opening and expression can be discovered. This practice in embodiment leads to deep peace and transformation.

BREATHE+MEDITATE
all levels

Pranayama and Meditation are timeless practices with a broad spectrum of benefits. In meditation, we train our minds to maintain a steady focus, strengthening our attention, deepening our awareness, and cultivating happiness, well-being, and stable peace of mind. Breathwork works with energy in the body, preparing for deeper understanding in meditation practice.
