Morning Mini-Retreat

with Susan Mathis

RegisterThe Buddhist and yoga traditions both hold that it is possible to systematically cultivate feelings of loving-kindness, or what yoga philosophy refers to as “friendliness toward all beings.”  Loving-kindness, or metta, can also be translated as care, goodwill, and benevolence. This simple practice cultivates inner balance, happiness, and harmony as well as compassion and sympathetic joy.

Cultivate loving-kindness, benevolence and awareness in this Saturday morning retreat as we weave together the profound practice of metta meditation with yoga and pranayama. Joined together with the power of intentional community, explore the source of compassionate awareness within and open the door to a wellspring of equanimity and inner peace.

This experience will include:

~ Kripalu Yoga Practice for All Levels
~ Pranayama
~ Metta (loving-kindness) Meditation
