Focused, Open and Aware

Morning Mini-Retreat

with Susan Mathis and Natalie Akins RegisterMindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally. ~Jon Kabat-Zinn

The challenges of daily life constantly draw our attention outward, in a multitude of directions simultaneously. As a result, our attention is often divided, leaving us fragmented and disconnected from ourselves. Yoga and mindfulness offer simple and profound practices that bring attention back into the moment so that we may reenter life grounded, awake and aware.

Anchor yourself in the present and expand your mindfulness practice through guided techniques that engender attention and generate non-judgmental awareness. Cultivate focused attention and open awareness, as we unite yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices that calm anxiety and center both body and mind.

This experience will include:

~ Kripalu Yoga Practice (all levels)
~ Pranayama  to calm and center
~ Zen Drawing for Centering and Awareness
