Go beyond a superficial asana experience and reveal the deeper layers of our human experience. In this floor-based practice, guided meditation techniques and slow, sliding and gliding movements are used to unlock and explore the sensations and emotions of the subtle body. Each week will focus on a different area of the body such as feet and legs, hips and low back, spine and shoulders, neck and head. The experience is taken deeper through extended time for deep rest and integration in savasana. In this exploration, we will seek to access deeply embedded sensations and somatic patterns and unfold them from the inside out. You will gain tools for cultivating a deep and sensitive somatic awareness, making room for more potency and possibility of feeling in your asana practice and your everyday life. This series is open to all students.
