4 Week Series
Yoga therapy’s approach to the human system is both holistic and specific: it recognizes that a person’s body, breath, mind, behavior and emotions are interconnected and influencing of each other. As a result, yoga therapy practice is designed to foster your unique healing response. Yoga therapy empowers and meets you where you are. It allows you to become an active participant in your healing which leads to greater positive result and you are more likely to retain the benefits and habits of long-term health.
In this 4 week Therapeutic Yoga Series you will learn the fundamental techniques of Therapeutic Yoga. Whether you suffer from a history of physical injury, emotional trauma, or simply have an interest in adapting postures to meet your body’s needs, Therapeutic Yoga could be the new practice for you! Join us in cultivating a healing yogic experience.
During this class series, Brockell will share the basic principles of yoga therapy. She will show you how the tools of yoga help correct structural imbalances, alleviate and mange pain, and reduce anxiety. You will experience the heart of yoga’s effect through practices of gentle movement, breath work, and simple meditation.
During the 4-week series, we will address issues within:
- Low Back Pain
- Knees and feet
- Stress and anxiety

Brockell Briddle, RYT 200
Brockell believes deeply in the healing power of yoga. As a longtime practitioner, she has studied under many teachers and schools of yoga. When her father had a stroke in 2010, she shifted her study and practice to explore Yoga Therapy as an integrated tool for rehabilitation. She has a passion for biomechanics, anatomy, and assisting others while facilitating in their healing process.
